This is a spa motel built in the 1930s. Each room is owned by a different owner, offering a variety of tastes. Outdoor Pools Added Hot Springs, a spa town on the Flathead Indian Reservation, Montana. Alameda's Hot Springs is a motel near Roses Plunge, a hot spring at the northern end of the settlement. Covered in dense greenery, it had a remote appearance that could be mistaken for an ordinary house if one knew nothing about it. The small office was located on the east end of the property. Nearly 20 cabins or suites can be reserved online at the official website. They did not exist at the time of my visit, but it appears that four private outdoor pools and a sauna have been added in the vicinity of the "dome" during renovations. The tubs are ready-made Jacuzzis. Alameda’s Hot Springs Overnight guests can use the private outdoor pools for one hour free of charge. The courtyard had a cozy-looking wooden deck and a peaceful view. The indoor rooms surrounding the courtyard were connected by a homelike hallway. Room #3 I was told by a staff that each room has a different owner and therefore a different taste. I chose Room #3. It was a spacious suite consisting of a living room, bedroom and kitchen. Delight's Hot Springs Resort (Tecopa) - Hot Springs in California

A small desert empire of Tecopa Hot Springs. It is one of the most realistic options for an overnight stay in the spa town. A Legendary Story Tecopa Hot Springs is located on the northern outskirts of the settlement of Tecopa, which originated as a mining town. At the further northern end of that hot springs area is Delight's Hot Springs. With nearly 20 cabins or cottages, it is one of the largest spa hotels in the region. There is also an RV park with full hookups, and reservations are not required for that one. It also has a restaurant with craft beer and BBQ. The founder of this "small desert empire" was a "cripple" with arthritis named Elias Delight. In the 1950s, after a month-long soak in the nearby Tecopa Mud Baths at the urging of a friend, Elias felt better and decided to build a spa resort in the area. However, the land was a homestead that could only be purchased with the Civil War Script. Coincidentally, his grandfather served in the Civil War, and it is said that the resort's history began with $2,000.00 worth of Civil War Script displayed in his home. It is only at Tecopa that such a legendary story is told truly. Now, none of the cabins/cottages had thermal pools. Hot water was available at four private pools on a first-come, first-served basis. Fire Water Lodge- Hot Springs in New Mexico

A beautiful hot spring inn located along the main street of the spa town. Natural hot spring water is drawn into most of the various guest rooms. Two private pools There are two main streets in downtown Truth or Consequences, with a one-way street facing west on the north side and a one-way street facing east on the south side. The white buildings facing the street on the south side is the Fire Water Lodge. Incidentally, they were previously painted turquoise, and photos from that time are also used for your reference. The Texas Home Court, an apartment building built in 1925, was the predecessor of the inn. No walk-in is available, only overnight stays. Lodging can only be reserved through the official website. After completing the reservation, I was given a PIN for the front door and was able to check in without seeing anyone. Thanks to the thorough labor savings, I was able to stay at a reasonable price. Just inside the entrance on the right was an outdoor tub that was available on a first-come, first-served basis. Ready-made hot tub under the gazebo. The indoor tub, also available on a first-come, first-served basis, was not available during my second visit due to the renovation. A corridor colored in primary colors. Miracle Hot Springs - Hot Springs in Idaho

Beautiful hot spring pools that feel a bit like a resort. The number of private pools is noteworthy. Retreat for adults Miracle Hot Springs is only a five-minute drive from Banbury Hot Springs, which has been closed indefinitely due to aging. Although the management is the same, I felt that the direction was reversed, with Banbury catering to families and Miracle to adults. It was founded in 1960, which means that Miracle is a younger facility. Family owned and operated for generations, the second generation, Larry Dean Olsen, in addition to running the family spa business, is a well-known author of the long-selling book "Outdoor Survival Skills." Campgrounds are available, but for overnight stays, glamping domes are mainly rented. There were four domes with a modern atmosphere. They actively accepted walk-ins. Admission at the time of my visit was $14.00 for adults ($16.00 on Friday and Saturday). It was a rare and strict requirement to be considered an adult from the age of three. My guess is that it is oriented toward an adult retreat, not a children's playground. Surrounded on three sides by Southwestern-style adobe buildings, the main pool offered a bit of a resort atmosphere. The main pool was divided into four pools, each with different depth and temperature settings. The hottest 106 degrees F pool was covered by a terrace and looked like a cave. Riverside Hot Springs Inn & Spa (Lava Hot Springs) - Hot Springs in Idaho

One of the historic hot springs hotels in Lava Hot Springs. There were three private soaking pools that could be freely used on a reserved basis. Which is the front? It was the most elegant and old-fashioned of the several old buildings that dotted the spa town. Riverside Hot Springs was located one street back from the main street where The Home Hotel is located. Built-in 1914, the building, as its name suggests, was adjacent to the Portneuf River. As you can see from the old photos, the riverside was once the entrance of the building, and it was gorgeous. Today, the riverside path is no longer used and the entrance, reminiscent of a kitchen door, was on the Main Street side. The first floor was a restaurant, which I did not use but seemed to have a good reputation. From there, I took the stairs to the second floor, where I found the front desk. The wide door seen at the back was probably the former main entrance. There was a café space next to the front desk, which was also used as a breakfast room. I went to the third floor with the huge hunting trophy by my side. Found a reception room in the third-floor hallway. Healing Waters Plaza In downtown Truth or Consequences, New Mexico, there is a park that looks still new. In this small park, Healing Waters Plaza, the town's famous thermal water was poured over and could be freely touched. Launchpad for eco-tourism Just across the street from Healing Waters Plaza is Sierra Grande. Built in 1928-29, it has one of the longest histories in the spa town. In 2013, Sierra Grande took on a new mission when Ted Turner, one of America's leading media industry figures and businessmen, purchased the hotel. Banbury Hot Springs [CLOSED] - Hot Springs in Idaho

Hot spring pool located along the Snake River, downstream from Shoshone Falls. The private pools with plenty of hot water were nice. Shoshone Falls Shoshone Falls is also known as the "Niagara of the West. It boasts a drop of 65 meters, 14 meters higher than the famous Niagara Falls. The best time to visit is from April to June, as the water volume is extremely low during the summer season. The spacious grounds were well equipped with camping facilities, including 20 hookups. Kayaks were available for rent at the riverfront location. Passing through the building, I found a huge 120 x 60 feet swimming pool. The bottom of the pool sloped down and was 10 feet at its deepest point. Jemez Springs Bath House - Hot Springs in New Mexico

Bathhouse operated by the village of Jemez Springs. The source exposed on the side of it is also a must-see. Unlimited access to the source Jemez Springs, where a geyser is said to have suddenly sprung up around 1860. The bathhouse is one of the oldest surviving buildings and was constructed in the 1870s. It is even older than another bathhouse that remains in ruins on the nearby Jemez Hot Springs property, indicating that it was a separate facility. Check out the gazebo located a short distance north of the bathhouse. A hot spring pool once existed in this area, and a tent city surrounded it. The gazebo was a remnant, along with the bathhouse, and in the center was a hot water storage tank with the top half covered with wire mesh. Looking in through the gaps in the wire mesh, I saw that fresh water was pouring in, sometimes accompanied by bubbles. Some of the hot water drained directly out of the gazebo, forming a huge travertine dome. And most water was piped to the bathhouse. Another pipeline extended from the gazebo to the other side, where the ground was also brightly colored by mineral deposits. It is natural to assume that this is the source and that the water is stored in the gazebo, and then distributed to the bathhouse. Hot water with a temperature of 177 degrees F. The perfect base for touring the wild hot springs in the Long Valley Caldera. The hot springs I enjoyed at that bed and breakfast were also great. If that is your purpose, Benton Hot Springs is the perfect place for you. Benton is a mining town that prospered from silver mining in the late 1800s. It is conveniently located about an hour's drive from the east entrance of Yosemite National Park and 30 minutes to the center of Caldera. At its peak, the town had a population of over 5,000, but today the population is around 200. The area where the hot spring inn is located is about 5 miles west of the town center in the old town, which is almost a ghost town. In addition to seven guest rooms in the 1940s historic building, there is one separate cabin. The seven rooms, except for Marquessa Suite where I stayed, share a bathroom with the room next door (since the pandemic, it is basically no longer possible to book rooms adjacent to each other). Historic ditch Walking through the historic district of Truth or Consequences, I found a ditch that diagonally intersects the grid of streets. There were no recognizable signs, but the ditch was a landmark structure built in 1916 when the town was known as Hot Springs. The ditching of the wetlands along the Rio Grande facilitated the drainage of thermal water and led to the establishment of a number of bathhouses in the area. Hold on to the rope La Paloma Hot Springs is a hot springs inn located along this ditch that also accepts walk-in. It was once Marshall Miracle Pools, a motel built in 1935. The old building was still intact, but it had been renovated to create an atmosphere that could be recommended for those who value spirituality. Courtyard facing the inverted L-shaped motel building. The bathhouse had a row of private baths for one person. And yet, it was separated between men and women. Historical value of the indoor baths If you get off I- 25 at the Williamsburg exit and head toward Truth or Consequences, the first hot springs inn you will see can be Charles Hot Springs. This cozy motel, with a total of six rooms, was built in the late 1930s. By the way, there is a hiking trail in this spa town, called the Healing Waters Trail, which is 3 miles in total length.　　 The course is a walking tour of a number of historic hot springs inns, with Charles Hot Springs set as the starting point. I think it is comparable in value to Arkansas' Bathhouse Row, but I have not seen anyone going around this trail. Now, the interior of the Charles Hot Springs is beginning to be renovated, but the exterior, especially around the roof, remained old-fashioned. Reception desk with gift store. Reasonable pricing for a walk-in was $9.00 (as of this writing) for one hour of indoor baths. The bathrooms were located on the back side of the building and were separated for men and women. The men's baths were on the right side facing from the entrance, and the women's were on the left. This is a gas station with hot springs. When I stayed at the motel, I had a private outdoor tub with the room. All rooms have thermal water Haven Hot Springs is located in the mountains within walking distance to Kirkham Hot Springs, one of Idaho's most famous wild springs. A gas station was attached to the building and was well visible. It seemed to be a valuable refueling location in the neighborhood. Cafes, restaurants, and stores were also available. There was also a campground, RV park, and glamping. A short distance away, there was a small motel with a total of four rooms. The warmth of wood could be felt on the exterior. The room was small but functional with a refrigerator and microwave attached. From an odd spot in the restroom, I was able to exit onto the private patio. All rooms had patios of approximately the same size. Here, there was a private pool with thermal water drawn from natural hot springs. Room 2, where I stayed, had an octagonal tub. It was small enough to just barely fit two people. Tiles were attached to the inside of the tub. Handmade and delicate pattern. The water temp at the outlet was hot 129 degrees F. There was a water hose to add water, but I did not use it. In the first place, the amount of new water was small considerably, so a little stirring brought the tub to the right temperature.
