Is this Disneyland for adults who love spas?
The tubs at Mineral Baths were very small, but don't underestimate them.
One of the Most Successful Spas
A 40-minute drive east of Disneyland in Anaheim, California.

Glenn Ivy Hot Springs is a day spa for guests 18 years and older.

This facility, which resembles a huge theme park, may be “Disneyland” for spa lovers.

Like the nearby town of Lake Elsinore, this area has been known for its natural hot springs since Native American times.

In the late 19th century, baths and hotels were built.
As the owner at the time was British, it was named Glen Ivy, which includes the Scottish word.

Since the 1970s, it has taken on the form of a resort facility as it is today, undergoing repeated expansion and improvement.

It is no exaggeration to say that it is now one of the most successful spas in California.

The admission fee is steep.
Monday to Thursday $85.00, Friday and Sunday $109, Saturday $115.00 (at the time of writing).

This allows you to use the facility for all day.
Various treatments and The Grotto are subject to additional charges.

Due to popularity, advance reservations are required online.

The vast grounds surrounded by beautiful greenery had many hills and countless pools scattered throughout.

With a few exceptions, none of the pools seemed to use geothermal water as their main source.
There was only a slight chemical smell.

That said, the spa was full of various interesting features, so I never got bored.
This is Club Mud.

You can enjoy a mud bath at no additional charge.

There was some mud mixed with local red clay and geothermal water sitting there.

You smear it all over your face and body, let it dry, and then wash it off in the pool and shower.
The finished skin will be smooth and silky.

The sauna is available free of charge.
The Grotto, an artificial cave available for an additional fee ($45.00), is another highlight.
Glen Ivy Hot Springs
Authentic Hot Water
Hidden among the commercial spa facilities was a tub filled with 100% spring water.
Mineral Baths next to the Lap Pool.

Small tubs for one or two people were buried side by side in the ground under the gazebo.
Considering the size of the entire facility, it's surprisingly small!

The water was really authentic.
The thin greenish-colored transparent water had a strong sulfur smell and felt like slippery lotion on the skin.

Jacuzzi always available.
Thanks to the small size of the tubs, the water felt very fresh.
