A spa facility with a simple yet bold name.
The private pool was not only functional, but its water was also exceptional.

Renovation Exceeding 10 Years
A drive of just under an hour northeast from the state capital, Boise, on State Route 21.

The Springs is one of the closest spa facilities to the Boise metropolitan area.

The Springs is located on the western edge of Idaho City, a mining town that thrived during the Gold Rush era.

I was amazed by the atmosphere, reminiscent of a luxury apartment.

This facility reopened in 2022 after more than a decade of meticulous renovation.

It was once known as Warm Springs Resort and had been in operation since the 19th century.

The Olympic-size pool, which originated from the predecessor facility, is being utilized with improvements such as the installation of underwater benches.

Primarily a day-use facility, advance online reservations are required.

Pool reservations are for 2.5 hours, and private pool reservations are for 1 hour.

This resort is for adults aged 18 and over only on weekdays.
Children are welcome during daytime hours on Saturdays and Sundays.

Located 0.4 miles from The Springs is Inn The Pines, a hotel under the same management.
Guests can soak at discounted rates regardless of the pool availability.
Curved Beauty of the Private Pools

The private pool building stood north of the Olympic-size pool, its structure tracing a peculiar curve.

There were no doors on the passageway leading to the four private pools.

Following the beautiful curve, I was drawn into the bathroom, only to find myself outdoors once more.

Water flowed into a small circular tub, partially enclosed by walls and a roof.

Water at 108 degrees F.
Colorless and transparent, tasteless and odorless.

Precisely because the water lacked distinctive features, the excellence of the flowing water in the small tub stood out.

It also came with a tap for adding water.

A brown box-like object placed in the middle of the wall.

This revolved, enabling the exchange of items like drinks between the inside and outside the bathroom without human contact.
Ten minutes before the end of the private rental time, this signal appeared.

While gazing upon Idaho's abundant nature, it became an exquisite soaking experience.
