The hot spring inn in the United States was full of primary colors. Sparky's Burgers, BBQ & Espresso Hatch, a neighboring town to Truth or Consequences, is famous for its chili peppers. The restaurant where you can get a hamburger with that chili is Sparky's Burgers, BBQ & Espresso. Its interior was as nice as its juicy patties. The fun atmosphere of the interior will cheer you up just by looking at it. Affordable lodging choice Most hotels in T or C are relatively small and sometimes it is difficult to find vacancy at weekends. Out of them, Pelican Spa may be an exception that accommodates sudden travelers. There are several buildings painted by primary colors in the large area of the town, and each of them is the lodging facility. The cheapest room costs only $55.00 per night (as of this writing), so that it just fits the extended stay like hot spring cure. Overnight guests can freely utilize hot springs in this building. Of all the hot springs in Colorado, Pagosa Springs stands out from the rest. The water quality is out of this world. The world's deepest hot spring Pagosa is derived from "pah gosah," a Native American Ute word meaning water containing sulfur. The Springs Resort & Spa is the representative spa facility, and walk-in is welcomed. The walk-in rate varies from $25.00 to $53.00 (as of this writing), depending on the plans. Overnight guests at the hotel can enjoy the water from the check in through check out. I stayed at the lowest-grade room for lodging, which was $240.00. The bedroom looked clean, but a little bit overvalued even though the highest rate of walk-in was included. Before dipping in the water, you must see the source of the hot spring located behind the hotel. The turquoise water is bubbling in a hole that is approximately 35 feet across with a maximum depth 1,002 feet. 23 soaking pools This "Mother" Spring is listed in Guinness World Records as the world's deepest hot spring. The water is around 144 degrees F and piped to 23 soaking pools in the spa area. All the spa area is located outside and guests have to wear swimsuits. There is a hot springs hotel in the suburbs. San Miguel de Allende San Miguel de Allende is a colonial city that was developed during the 18th century through the handicraft industry. Today it is one of the most popular tourist spots especially among women, and at the same time an international city where many retired American people and young people studying art live. Indoor tub It is 30 minutes’ drive from the downtown. The hotel is located in the plain far from town. Old-fashioned but pretty rooms harmonize the streets of San Miguel de Allende. Another choice at the secluded Tolantongo. If you want to enjoy the soaking in a quiet environment, La Gloria Tolantongo is the place to go. Querétaro Santiago de Querétaro is the capital of Querétaro Province. The elegant aqueduct, the symbol of the city, is 1,280 meters long and consists of 74 arches. It is said that the Juan Antonio de Urrutia y Arana, a nobleman in the 18th century, had the aqueduct built concerning the aqueduct of Segovia in Spain. Extra charge from here A three-hour drive east of Querétaro is the Grutas Tolantongo, famous for its huge hot spring waterfalls and limestone caves. At Truth or Consequences, this is the place to enjoy the hot springs gushing straight out of the ground. It warmed up differently from the hot springs piped from sources. This one is also La Paloma Along Austin Street, lined with numerous spa hotels, La Paloma Too stood mysteriously, as if sunk into the ground. There are various theories, but the predecessor of Hay-Yo-Kay Hot Springs, founded in 1945, is said to be Hay-Yo-Kay Hot Springs. It was acquired in 2014 by La Paloma Hot Springs & Spa, the hotel next door. That's how the name La Paloma "Too" came about. La Paloma Hot Springs is famous for its private baths, and its annex, La Paloma Too, is based on the same concept. As a hot spring enthusiast, I was happy to see two historical bathhouses in operation, but I wondered if it was an unnecessary concern that there was a bit of an oversupply in this small town. In the lush natural highlands of northern New Mexico, there is a traditional Native American settlement. The fact that the hot springs are located in the immediate vicinity of the World Heritage-listed residence should not be overlooked. Hot Sulphur Spring Water Baths The spa facility was known as Giggling Hot Springs until 2018. It was renamed simply Jemez Hot Springs after the place. I turned off New Mexico State Highway 4, which runs through the spa town, and found ourselves in a parking lot. At the end of the parking lot, the remains of the old bathhouse made their presence felt. It was still marked on the wall as Hot Sulphur Springs Water Baths. This bathhouse was built in 1895-96. After it was destroyed in the flood of 1941, it has been left in this location without being particularly carefully preserved. Magical colors Jemez Hot Springs' office was built cozily next to the old bathhouse. In addition to walk-ins, visitors can stay overnight in one of the three cabins. In addition to the cabins, there are two nearby sister facilities, Laughing Lizard Inn and Cañon del Rio. Blackstone Hotsprings is one of the most sophisticated inns in Truth or Consequences. Each of the bathrooms, as well as the guest rooms, had a different flair. Historic indoor baths In 2005, the current owner purchased and greatly renovated the property of a motel that started the business in the 1930s. They have twelve guest rooms; each of them is themed for a TV show or character. Out of them, nine have in-room baths. Walk-ins are welcome. Going through the beautiful courtyard, I entered the office. If you like to soak in the hottest water, I recommend the Historic Baths. The Historic Baths were originally built in the 1930s. During renovation, they found evidence of 10 baths in the original bathhouse. Two of them were preserved and used for walk-ins. Opening the yellow valve, 112 degrees F water is provided to the two-people sized tub. Four outdoor pools Out of four private luxury baths, one is an indoor bath, and three are an outdoor bath. The rate is $25.00 to $30.00 per 50-minute (as of this writing). The Wet Room is the only one indoor bath. The enchantment of this bathroom is the geothermal steam room. You cannot easily find a natural sauna at Truth or Consequences. The other three outdoor baths are located backward of the parking lot.
