Despite being connected by land to the United States, which is full of wild hot springs, Canada doesn't seem to have nearly as many.

There is so much untouched wilderness that, while wild hot springs exist, they may be inaccessible to humans.

Lussier Hot Springs is an undeveloped hot spring located a 45-minute drive southeast of Fairmont Hot Springs Resort.

No usage fees apply.

The banks of the Lussier River.
The retaining walls around the hot springs were neatly maintained.

Giant boulders larger than people lie scattered about.

There were three rock pools in total.

The source was here.

Two rock pools where the hot water flows from that rock pool mix with the river water.

Observing the source from between the giant rocks, geothermal water gushed forth with considerable force from the upper part of the rock surface, which was thickly coated with white deposits.

The water temp was 108 degrees F.
The distinct smell of sulfur hung in the air, creating an atmosphere reminiscent of paradise.

Countless flakes like beaten eggs were dancing in the thermal water.

Clothing is required.
There are campgrounds nearby, and it seems to get crowded with people on summer weekends, but on a weekday morning, it's just like this.

It can be said to be the finest undeveloped hot spring in Canada from every perspective.
