A reflexology spa where you can enjoy natural hot springs.
Enjoy the salty water in a private tub.

Not many people are likely to visit Safford, Arizona, but it is a town located along the highway that connects the state capital Phoenix with Lordsburg, New Mexico.

There are two spa facilities in this town with a population of about 10,000.

One is the Essence of Tranquility.

ReferenceEssence of Tranquility - Hot Springs in Arizona
Just a two-hour drive from Tucson, Arizona, was a spa facility with the philosophical name, Essence of Tranquility. It was an unusual spot, full of handcrafted touches. Quiet campground The campground, which draws thermal water, had such an unassuming appearance ...
This RV park with hot springs is known only to those in the know, offering a walk-in option with private pools designed with attention to detail.

It is probably not an exaggeration to say that few people know that just 0.6 miles south of there is Kachina Mineral Springs.

That said, it was founded in 1949, which is quite a long time ago, and it seems that they were competing for customers in the area.

Kachina Mineral Springs is primarily operated as a reflexology spa.

There is a possibility that you will not be able to use the thermal water even if you drop by, so it is recommended to make a reservation online in advance.

In addition to the spa menu, there are also plans that include only soaking.

I also visited solely for the hot water, and was led to a spacious room lined with massage beds.

Since there were no customers, I was told that I could use this space as a changing room and luggage storage area.
Quite generous.

The original changing room was a narrow space next to the private tubs, separated by curtains.

Massive Flow
There were several tubs inside the building, all of which were for private use.
The price for this type was $30.00 for two people (at the time of writing).

As expected of a spa, plenty of cold water and clean towels were also included in the service.

In a dimly lit room with only one small window, there was a stepped tub.
The decor was modest, creating an environment perfect for enjoying a leisurely soak.

The amount of fresh water added to the tub was enormous compared to its size, making it fresh.

The water temp was 104 degrees F.
The water was colorless and odorless, and had a salty taste.

I never imagined that such an excellent geothermal water would be hidden in a reflexology spa.
